The Jared Jamail Memorial Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Crosby, TX 77532 that awards scholarships to graduating seniors of Crosby High School. This policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the Golf Classic, accept gifts and stay in touch, and we never sell or rent your information.
Information you give us
- Golf Classic registration and sponsorship: your name, email, phone, company or team name, your team members' names, and the registration or sponsorship level you choose.
- Donations: your name, contact details, gift amount, any "in honor of" message, and whether you'd like your gift to be anonymous.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone (if you give it) and your message.
- Email updates: your name and email address when you sign up.
Card and PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Your full card number goes straight to PayPal and is never seen or stored by the fund.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours keeps basic visit statistics: the pages viewed, the type of browser and device, the website that referred you, and an approximate location based on your internet address. Our host, Wix, collects these using cookies and similar technology, and we look only at the totals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
How we use your information
- To register golfers and sponsors, organize teams and run tournament day.
- To process gifts and payments.
- To answer your questions and messages.
- To send Golf Classic news and reminders, if you've signed up.
- To keep gift and tax records, as nonprofits are required to do.
Who helps us handle it
We use a few trusted services, each only for the job described here:
- Cognito Forms runs our registration, donation and contact forms.
- PayPal processes payments.
- Mailchimp sends our email updates.
- Wix hosts this website and stores our records.
Your information is seen only by these services and by fund board members who need it. We don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
What appears on this website
- Sponsors are thanked by name on our Sponsors and Home pages.
- Donors are not listed on the website. If you choose to give anonymously, we won't name you anywhere.
- Scholarship recipients' names and group photos are posted to celebrate them.
- Tournament photos are posted in our photo gallery.
If you'd like your name taken down, let us know.
Your choices
- Email updates: every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time.
- Updating or deleting your information: contact us and we'll update or delete it, except for records we must keep for tax and accounting.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
